Posh - Eternal Hope Springs From……….(Cash)!

Posh - Eternal Hope Springs From……….(Cash)!

Okay! It`s another defeat but at least there are signs of hope!

After suffering our heaviest defeat of the season, at Reading last weekend, it was encouraging to see Posh give Blackpool a run for their money.

On another day we may well have snatched a point, or even three, and after the game Gary Johnson remained buoyant about the situation and what is needed, remarking,

"The players needed to provide a response after the debacle of last weekend at Reading - and they did. We had a couple of good chances and James came up trumps at the other end with a host of really good saves."

"It is important we remain competitive both for ourselves and the other teams in the league."

"The job now is to add some quality to the energy and commitment to make sure we are ready for next season in League One."

But, the big question is - how much cash will be needed to inject this quality?

Hey cheer up, it could be worse. You still have hope for next season and you will be coming to our ground. St Mary's awaits.
