Posh - Frecklington Talks Promotion!

Although we travel to the wonderful county of Royal Berkshire with a squad depleted buy injury, Posh should be able to welcome back Lee Frecklington to bolster the midfield.

Frecklington, who has been absent due to a hamstring problem, has also spoken about the buoyant mood at London Road, despite the club being relegated from the Championship.

Seemingly, all eyes are now already focused on getting promotion from league One next season and Frecklington, speaking to the local radio station has given his view on what`s needed to achieve a second promotion from League one in three seasons, commenting,

"If we can keep the same squad and add to it over the summer I can`t see why we can`t bounce back."

"If the manager feels we need new players and the chairman backs him the club can only get better."

Like we`ve said before, here on Vital Posh, we believe that the crux of the matter will be us holding on to the likes of Mclean, Mackail-Smith, Boyd and Lewis. If promotion is to be achieved we need to keep the nucleus of the side together.
