Posh - Jim Gannon Leaves!

And so the plaque above the Peterborough managers` door has been changed again.

After taking temporary charge, until the end of the season, and then deciding he wouldn`t be tempted by a permanent contract, Jim Gannon has made way for our fourth manager this season, Gary Johnson.

Speaking about the sudden change (again), Jim Gannon has been both honest and open, commenting,

The club has a good structure, there is good finance, good support from the upper management."

"I`m sure under Gary`s guidance they will be in great condition at the start of the season and have every chance of being contenders for promotion."

"Hopefully, the players have picked up experience for when they get back into the Championship."

"Once the club made a decision to have a new manager, it`s only right and proper he would want to get his hands dirty and get straight in there."

Here at Vital Posh we`d like to thank Jim for the splendid work he`s done for Posh after inheriting a sinking ship from Mark Cooper.

Thanks Jim and we wish you all the best for the future!
