'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Stimson the favourite

POSH supremo Barry Fry may have to move quicker than he thought to secure the services of a new manager for his club.

Originally he had stated he would wait until July to make an appointment as the club couldn't afford an extra salary on the wage bill throughout the summer.

Now though it looks as though Mark Stimson, recently departed from Grays Athletic is likely to be appointed sometime in the next week or so.

Stimson has emerged as the favourite after Grays' dramatic rise through the non-league and double FA Trophy success. They did miss out on the football league in the Conference play-offs which prompted 'Stimmo' to leave in search of a fresh challenge.
