Posh - Dickinson`s Future!

With Jim Gannon having decided that his future lies with his family rather than Peterborough United Football Club, one player is left in an awkward situation.

Liam Dickinson, signed on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, would probably have been hoping that Gannon would have chosen to stay on as the Peterborough manager, thereby giving him a chance of making the move permanent.

Now he finds himself at the mercy of the new incumbent of the job and speaking to Radio Cambridgeshire, Liam has remarked,

'I thought he might decide to stay, but you never know with Jim what's going through his mind.'

'You've always got to keep your options open as you can never tell what the future holds. I could go back to Brighton and play there, or I could be on the move'

"The rest of my season lies at Peterborough and then come the summer I'll be relaxing with my family,'

'I'll start back again in pre-season and if I'm on the move then I'm on the move.'

Our question to you though is plain and simple. Should Posh hang onto Liam Dickinson or is he no better than those we already have on the playing staff?

Well, dont know what your other strikers are like, but if Dicko is managed by a manager who can be strong on discipline but also able put an arm around a player, then you will see Liam terrorise League one next season. He has 20 goals a seaon potential at that level.

Alternatively you could give him away for free to return to us at Stockport...!
