'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Johnson Speculation Rife!

According to the best selling tabloid newspaper in the country, the race to be the fourth manager of Peterborough United Football Club is more or less decided.

Following Darren Ferguson, Mark Cooper and Jim Gannon into the hot-seat and probably charged with re-building our squad after a disastrous Championship campaign is none other than the ex-Bristol City manager, Gary Johnson.

Seemingly, Gary met with Barry Fry to discuss the position and is quoted as saying,

"I want to return soon."

I guess only time will tell if the speculation is right!

Make sure you get the neck braces in for all that long ball crap and brace yourself for all the bull**** he spouts! Good luck with that!

Good manager with decent pedigree. Let's face it, Bristol City have overachieved for years and as soon as they have a mid-table season the fans turn on Johnson. You could do a lot worse for London Road.

That is absolute rubbish Doc. We haven't overacheived at all. The fact is this league is weak and our promotion carried up towards the Prem. If you knew what you were talking about, you'd understand why the fans turned on Johnson and it wasn't cos of 'underachievement'.
