Posh - Gannon Laments Loss!

Posh - Gannon Laments Loss!

Yet another home defeat, yet another defensive lapse and we`re now that much closer to relegation.

Okay, the writing has been on the wall for some time but it`s still an unpleasant experience and deep down I wonder if our one chance at Championship glory, is going to be our one and only.

Troubled time lie ahead!

After the narrow defeat to Bristol City, our outgoing manager, Jim Gannon, was in reflective mood, contemplating how we`d given another sloppy goal away, remarking,

"We spent hours talking to the players in the week about what we needed to do here. It was simply so disappointing to concede in the way we did."

What concerns me is that you could substitute the name of Ferguson or Cooper for Gannon here, mistakes have been the downfall of what could have been a beautiful season but instead it is a season that has left our club scarred.
