Posh - Disappointed to See Boyd Go!

Posh - Disappointed to See Boyd Go!

Having set a bench mark of 144 consecutive league games, the home fixture, against Coventry, is the end of an era.

Although George Boyd missed the defeat at Swansea last weekend, due to a virus, this weekend is the first for several seasons whereby the name of Boyd will not even be contemplated for inclusion in the squad.

After the initial outcry from this site, earlier this week, probably prompted by a wave of disappointment, it`s time to let bygones be bygones and wish George all the best at the City Ground, Nottingham.

Studying the results of our latest poll, I`d imply I`m not alone in expressing such disappointment with 64% voting that they were disappointed to see him leave. A further 18% accepted that his talents would inevitably see him leave London Road whilst those who surf around the Vital Network obviously contributed to the 18% expressed pleasure at his departure.

Good luck George, no doubt our paths will cross one day in the future, such things seem to happen with alarming regularity in this sport of ours don`t they?
