Posh - Gannon Has a Valid Point!

Posh - Gannon Has a Valid Point!

It looks to be an impossible task that of survival.

Statistically we`re doomed; mathematically there is still a chance of survival.

However, if we are to survive then we`ll need to show title winning form in our remaining games, something that even the most optimistic of supporters would readily accept is highly unlikely.

Nevertheless, what happens between now and the end of the season could very well define our future. Last week we touched upon the distinct probability that relegation would inevitably see a mass exodus of players who perceive they have the ability to perform regularly at a higher level.

If that`s the case then perhaps Jim Gannon has a point when he remarked after the Swansea game,

"I won`t let the lads throw in the towel."

We`d hope that personal and professional pride would prevent that but if there are certain players who are operating to he previously mentioned agenda what better way to promote your case than by having a barn-storming end to the season!

I'd say you are so doomed it's only a matter of when rather than if!
