The fact that George Boyd was conspicuous by his absence from the starting eleven yesterday would suggest the virus he was suffering from was bad enough o prevent him from starting.
In doing so it finally brought to an end George`s record number of consecutive league appearances for the club, a record that George should be proud of and a record that will sit in the history books for a considerable time we feel!
