Posh - The Managers Comments!
So what did Jim Gannon and Roy Keane have to say about last night?
After securing a second successive home win and maintaining an unbeaten record over Ipswich Town last night, it`s understandable that Jim Gannon was the happier of the two managers.
Speaking to the media after the exciting 3-1 win, Jim lamented the poor start but praised his side for the change in tempo in the second half but also re-iterating that survival in this division is a task of such magnitude that it is difficult to contemplate, remarking,
"We`ve set short term goals as its too daunting looking at what we need to do to stay up. We played well after a very poor 30 minutes."
"In the second half we had more tempo and certainly did enough."
Roy Keane, on the other hand, had a far more worried look on his face, realizing that another defeat had given his team there own concerns with regards to relegation. Talking to the media Roy seemed confused that his side failed to show the sort of character, on the pitch, he was famous for, commenting,
"It won`t be good players who keep us up - but good characters and in the last 25 minutes I never felt we were going to get back into it."
"In any walk of life you have got to show some character and we showed none."
Anyone else get the impression that the away dressing room might just have been the place not to be at 21:30 last night?
