Posh - Cooper Blames Referee!

Is it an easy cop out or is he correct?

Following on from yet another loss, this time 3-0 at home to Derby County, Mark Cooper lamented the performance of the referee but also praised the side for their resilience in the face of adversity, remarking,

"Everyone has a bad day and the ref has chosen to have it here."

"Every decision went the other way and sometimes when you`re the smaller club you don`t get decisions."

"I`ve not seen a replay but if the first one was a bad tackle, then he deserves to go - but with the second one I thought Ryan got a slight touch. We`d played well up to that point. We created chances, played at a good tempo and were really impressive, even with nine men. The effort was incredible and they deserved to get clapped off."

Was the ref dire or did were we the architects of our own downfall?
