Posh - So Much for Loyalty!

Posh - So Much for Loyalty!

The media are reporting that Darren Ward, our goalkeeping coach, has upped and left.

Ward, who only joined us recently, has decided that he`d prefer to work alongside Darren Ferguson, at Preston North End,

Ferguson, naturally delighted to have secured his services, has commented,

'I brought him to Peterborough and he wasn't there long before I left and he's obviously remained there until now."

'He's very professional, a very good goalkeeper himself, very hard working which is what I look for in my staff. It's important that I set the right example with my work ethic and that goes all the way down to the players through the staff and that's what he brings."

'He's very good at his job and I know that the two goalkeepers are looking forward to working with him.'

Oh well, back to the drawing board. Anyone got a goalkeeping coach up their sleeve?
