Posh - Record Deal Done!

Posh - Record Deal Done!

Today (Friday) will be a monumental moment in the history of our football club.

It is the moment Peterborough United set a new record transfer buy with the signing of Ryan Bennett.

Bennett, who has been on loan from Grimsby Town, will put pen to paper in a deal that will break the previous record of circa £400,000 that Posh paid Norwich City for Joe Lewis.

Indeed, if young Ryan progresses as many suggest he will, the deal could cost our football club close t a £1,000,000 with Barry Fry having remarked ot the local media,

'Ryan's deal goes through on Friday."

'It is a record transfer for the club and there are also sorts of add-ons in there as well - things like helping Posh into the Premier League and him going on to play for England."

'If everything in the deal were to happen it could cost us £1million.'

Welcome, on a permanent basis, to London Road then Ryan!
