Posh - McLeod Deal Moves Nearer!

Posh - McLeod Deal Moves Nearer!

If the gossip columns are right, it looks increasingly likely that Posh will be signing the Charlton forward, Izale McLeod.

Earlier this week we reported on the fact that a deal could be on the cards and now it looks as if Charlton are willing to let a player who cost them £1.1 million, when signed from MK Dons in August 2007.

Now whether it`s a loan deal or whether Mark Cooper has settled on the notion that McLeod is the solution to our striking conundrum, once Aaron Mclean is sold, remains the unanswered question.

However I`d hazard a guess that if a deal is imminent then such facts will soon become common knowledge, until then we`ll sit and ponder!
