'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Martin`s Gone!

Just as we anticipated last week, Russell Martin has joined Norwich City in a permanent deal.

Our former skipper joins Norwich on the same day that their manager, Paul Lambert signed Anthony MacNamee sparking Lambert to comment,

'I think they will be terrific players for this club.'

With Martin himself remarking,

'I stated my desire to stay here permanently as soon as I saw the size of the club, the fanbase, the stadium and the facilities at the training ground. "

'Thankfully I've done enough to prove to Paul Lambert in the four weeks that I'm worthy of staying and I'm really enjoying playing for him as I think most of the lads do.'

Here at Vital Posh we`d like to thank Russell for all he`s done for us and wish him every success at Carrow Road.
