Posh - Keates Leaves Posh!

Posh - Keates Leaves Posh!

It filtered through yesterday that after being unable to secure a regular place during the tenure of new manager, Mark Cooper, Dean Keates has left London Road.

Seemingly, Keates and Posh have mutually decided to cancel his contract leaving him free to negotiate terms with another club.

Reports indicate that Keates turned down a loan spell at non-league Luton Town. Here at Vital Posh we`d suspect that Keates is looking for a higher level of football than the Blue Square Conference.

Speaking about the somewhat sudden turn of events, Barry Fry has commented to the local media,

'Dean has played a massive role in our recent successes and has given tremendous services to this football club."

'He has always given 100% in his performances and on behalf of the club I wish him the very best in the future.'

Ad so do we, good luck Deano!

I'm sad to see Dean go, I thought he'd be one to prosper in the Championship!
