Posh - Dreaming of an N17 Win!

It`s not long now!

Saturday will see a break from the heartache of being bottom of the Championship as we seek FA Cup glory at White Hart Lane.

There`s no denying it is a hugely difficult task, Spurs are flying and we are, how you might say, struggling.

But there`s no denying the magic of the FA Cup, it`s time to believe that anything can happen and that Posh can add their name to the list of clubs that have done the unthinkable and knocked out a team from a higher division, in this case the highest division.

After the remarkable 4-4 draw against Cardiff City, where we came back from the dead at being 4-0 down, I guess anything should be considered possible. Mark Cooper definitely thinks so and has remarked to the local media,

'Winning at Spurs is a tough ask, but getting something out of Monday's game should have been impossible."

'It just goes to show that when you are prepared to run around, work hard and be totally committed, anything can happen.

'And that's the attitude we need to take into the Spurs match. Shocks do happen in the FA Cup and I've been on the right end of a few in my career so we are certainly going to White Hart Lane with a chance."

'The lads have massive self-belief after Monday and they couldn't be going to Spurs in a better frame of mind."

'I expect Spurs will want to win the FA Cup so they will not be taking us lightly so we will have to be at our best to have a chance."

'If we are I wouldn't rule out a shock result.'


What odds George Boyd netting the winner, from the penalty spot, in injury time and with a shot that hits the inside of both posts before rolling over the line?

Well Mark did say nothing is impossible didn`t he!

for us to win they'll have to have a shocker and we'll have to be at our very best (AT LEAST)!
