Posh Pitman Deal Is A No-Go!

It looks as if the chase for a new striker has been de-railed by extortionate cash demands.

It had been reported that Posh were keen to sign the AFC Bournemouth striker, Brett Pitman.

However, it seems that the south coast club have a different valuation of the player than we do.

Bournemouth are seeking £800,000 for the striker who has netted 45 times in 89 games.

'We asked Bournemouth whether or not Pitman was available They said yes, but they want £800,000 him and that's too much."

'We'd go to £400,000 and maybe £500,000, but that would be it. He's a good player, but that would be a lot of money for a young lad no matter how talented."

We`d agree Barry, whilst admitting his youthfulness would be a positive attribute; it`s a lot of cash to spend to find he can`t cut the mustard at this level!
