Posh Pitman Deal Is A No-Go!

It looks as if the chase for a new striker has been de-railed by extortionate cash demands.

It had been reported that Posh were keen to sign the AFC Bournemouth striker, Brett Pitman.

However, it seems that the south coast club have a different valuation of the player than we do.

Bournemouth are seeking 800,000 for the striker who has netted 45 times in 89 games.

'We asked Bournemouth whether or not Pitman was available They said yes, but they want 800,000 him and that's too much."

'We'd go to 400,000 and maybe 500,000, but that would be it. He's a good player, but that would be a lot of money for a young lad no matter how talented."

We`d agree Barry, whilst admitting his youthfulness would be a positive attribute; it`s a lot of cash to spend to find he can`t cut the mustard at this level!
