Posh - More on Le Fondre Bid?

Posh - More on Le Fondre Bid?

Earlier this week, we ran an article that covered Peterborough`s quest to secure the services of the Rotherham hot-shot, Adam Le Fondre.

Unfortunately, the bid, believed to be in the region of £800,000 wasn`t enough to tempt Rotherham to part with their leading scorer.

Since the deal stalled at an early stage, Le Fondre has spoken, briefly, to the media about his decision and even though he`s playing in a lower league than he would have been for us, you has veto, in a way, admire his loyalty to his current club when he`s quoted as saying,

"I want to carry on scoring goals for Rotherham and hopefully get us promoted."

I can`t help thinking the lad has missed a chance though and I`d like to hear his reflections come May if 'The Millers` promotion bid has floundered!
