Posh - London Road Latest!

Posh - London Road Latest!

The muddled situation relating to our ground could be solved in as little as three weeks time.

London Road, sold by the club to a local property developer in 2003, is currently owned by Peterborough United Holdings Limited.

But plans are afoot for the local council to purchase the ground to give Peterborough the security of a long term base.

However, these plans are subject to the whole of the council voting to accept the deal.

If the deal does go through then the ground will be regenerated to provide the local community with facilities that can be used every day instead of jus ton match day.

With the football club, through back-to-back promotions, having brought to the forefront the name of the city of Peterborough we`d hope that the deal can be rubber-stamped and we can quickly move on!
