Posh - Striker Returns to London Road!

Posh - Striker Returns to London Road!

And it came to pass that sat in front of the television watching Northwich Victoria crash out of the FA Cup to Lincoln City a familiar face appeared on the screen.

Posh striker, Rene Howe, cam eon as a second half substitute for 'The Imps` but he appears to have played his last game for Chris Sutton`s side.

It appears that Rene has picked up a hamstring problem that has meant that Lincoln have cut short his season long and sent him back to London Road.

Speaking about Rene, Sutton remarked,

'I would like to thank Rene for his efforts during his time at the club and can confirm that as I have got plenty of options up front, he won't be returning when his loan comes to a close."

A case of thanks a lot but no thanks methinks!
