Posh - Boyd Gets Your Support!

With no midweek game scheduled between the trip to play Sheffield United and the home fixture against Middlesbrough, we used our poll facility to gauge your reaction on the decision by Mark Cooper to appoint George Boyd as the captain of the team.

We asked whether the decision by the former Kettering Town manager was a good choice ad the general consensus of opinion from the Vital Posh readership was that it was indeed.

When the votes were collated an overwhelming 70% thought that George Boyd would make a fine captain whilst only 7% seemed to indicate that Cooper had got the wrong man for the job.

As for the remaining 23% they sat firmly on the fence opting for the undecided option. I wonder which way their opinion will sway in the forthcoming weeks!
