Posh - Cooper v Ferguson?

Posh - Cooper v Ferguson?

It`s hard to contemplate that this time last week the good ship Posh was sailing along, albeit in troubled waters, but with a respected helmsman contemplating navigating it through calmer waters and then, in a matter of speaking, the jolly roger was hoisted and that very same helmsman agreed to walk the plank!

But, as the editor of this site, the events of the past week have given me the perfect opportunity to make great use of our poll facility, firstly to gauge your reaction to the sacking and then secondly to gauge your opinion on the appointment of the new gaffer.

Looking at the former, the sacking of Darren Ferguson, we were interested to know if you thought Posh had taken the right decision. Was the fact that we were bottom of the Championship and struggling to string results together sufficient to see Darren ousted or did you belong to the fraternity that thought he should be given more time?

The results proved interesting and came out as follows:-

No! 63%
Yes! 37%

Moving on to the second poll of the week, once the appointment of Mark Cooper had become common knowledge, we wanted to know if you thought the decision to give the relatively untried and untested, at this level, ex-Poppies man the job.

Once again the results proved to be interesting and came out as follows:-

Yes 30%
No 42%
Who? 28%

Here at Vital Posh we`d like to thank all those who took time out to support our polls, it is greatly appreciated.
