Posh - Ferguson Sets the Tone!

Posh - Ferguson Sets the Tone!

After such a traumatic time recently, whereby results have been hard to come by and we`ve languished in the bottom three, Saturday evening must have been a pleasurable one in the Ferguson household.

We`d imagine that Darren could sit and relax safe in the knowledge that we`d won comfortably, that we`d kept a clean sheet, that there`d been no huge losses in concentration and that we`d gone ninety-odd minutes without falling into our favourite trap of conceding two goals in quick succession, a trait that has haunted us several times so far this season.

Speaking in the immediate aftermath of the game, Darren hit the nail firmly on the head in his post match interview when he remarked,

"This is the standard we must perform to on a regular basis if we are to be fine in the Championship. A first clean sheet of the season was a bonus."

Here`s hoping one win leads to another and possibly another, now three in a row would be nice wouldn`t it!
