'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Doncaster Rovers 3 Posh 1

Read the score and then read it again, it`s enough to make you weep!

Surely Doncaster is the sort of place we should be going to and getting three points, they`re as low down the table as we are 9well they were until last night) and they`ve hardly kicked ass this season.

But no!

Once again we were guilty of conceding two goals in quick succession. When Sharp opened the scoring for the home side, in the 17th minute you just knew our heads would drop and that we`d be down and out minutes later.

And that`s exactly how it turned out with Shiels scoring a second for the home team after twenty-one minutes.

Talk about making it hard for ourselves!

However, when Aaron Mclean reduced the arrears with a well taken goal, in the thirty-second minute, you hoped there might be a comeback and perhaps there should have been when a blatant handball was ignored by the officials, a handball that would have seen us given a penalty.

True to form we huffed and puffed, we shuffled the pack at half time bringing on Frecklington and Keates for Diagouraga and Rose but to no avail.

Doncaster sewed the game up with five minutes to go, through Shackell and we sit in the relegation places (still) with one win in thirteen games - it`s just not good enough is it?
