Posh - Manager Talk - Bristol City (a)

Posh - Manager Talk - Bristol City (a)

A point rescued in the last minute and a climb of one place up the table still leaves us in the relegation zone.

However, we`re hopeful that the last gasp headed equaliser by George Boyd will signal a turnaround in fortunes for our side and with a visit from Doncaster Rovers, this Tuesday, we`ve every opportunity to jump out of the bottom three.

But, it was a slightly rueful Darren Ferguson who spoke to the press after the fixture, once again expressing a sadness that we`d not won when he commented,

"I`m disappointed and frustrated because I feel it was another game we should have won."

"We got a lucky break with our goal at the end, but had some great chances before that."

However, whilst some opposition supporters might consider Darren to be a little biased than perhaps they should heed the words of the Bristol city manager, Gary Johnson, who lamented,

"I never felt we were home and dry because one goal is never enough."

"Peterborough probably deserved a point."

Indeed we did but hasn`t that been the story of our season so far?
