'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Torres to Remain an Imp?

One of those so called dirty dozen, those told they`d be of no use to Posh, has gotten his wish.

Sergio Torres who, at one stage, never wanted to leave London Road, is finding life so grand at Lincoln City he looks set to have his loan period extended.

All that stands between him and some more football in a lower division is the matter of a financial agreement with Posh.

Speaking about the possibility of a contract extension, the voice of Posh, Barry Fry, has remarked,

'Chris Sutton has spoken to our manager, Darren Ferguson, and I've spoken to Lincoln's vice-chairman Bob Dorrian about extending Sergio's deal,'

'As yet we have not agreed on a financial package. In principal I have agreed to let him stay there until January but any deal would have to be exactly the same as what is in place currently, or he won't be returning to Lincoln."

It`ll be interesting to see how this one works out!

Pay up or he comes back basically!
