Posh - Gordon Bennett!
All summer it was implicated that Posh were going to buy a centre back.
All summer we chased that lad at Grimsby, Ryan Bennett.
All summer we were told by Mike Newell that we were chasing a lost cause.
But now, in the autumnal period, the suggestion is that a deal could be back on for the lad.
Barry Fry has given broad hints that Posh are looking to take one of Darren Ferguson`s main summer targets on loan with a view to signing him on a permanent basis this summer.
Could it be Bennett?
He certainly fits the bill or have we barked up the wrong tree (again)?
