Posh - Day`s Rotten Luck!

Posh - Day`s Rotten Luck!

You`ve got to have a heart of stone not too feel sorry for our full back Jamie Day.

After missing all of last season with a back injury Jamie has, on occasion, featured this season but had to leave the field of play in the defeat to Plymouth Argyle with a badly gashed ankle.

Thankfully for Jamie the wound has now healed and he is available again fro selection even though we`ve not got a game until a week Saturday when the squad travel to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City.

Speaking about the bad run of luck with injuries, Jamie had this to say to Radio Cambridgeshire,

'I've had some rotten luck, but the big positive is that it could have been a lot worse than it was."

'Hopefully I can be back for the Bristol City game.'

To quote a familiar phrase from an epic film, we`re glad Jamie is looking on the bright side of life!
