Posh - Carling Cup Date Announced!

Posh - Carling Cup Date Announced!

The powers to be have decreed that we`ll be making the long trek north, to Ewood Park on Tuesday 27th October.

The Carling Cup 4th round tie will kick off at 20:00 hours ensuring that everybody will, certainly if the game goes to extra-time and possible penalties, get home just in time for breakfast.

Whilst Posh will inevitably sell tickets for the clash a little birdie has told me that you can, due to the sheer size of the away end and the lack of a decent sized home support, buy tickets on the day to get in.

But, with the Carling Cup not being the most glamorous of competitions, we`d anticipate the game will be far from being a sell-out!

Depends what you mean by decent sized crowd... probably still be more than you attract on a normal saturday... I'd have preferred it away anyday... proper cup day out...
