'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Boyd and Inside 90 Minutes?

With a trip to the seaside, to face Blackpool fast looming on the horizon, it`s tie for the last word on that epic victory over Newcastle.

It`s time to wrap up the two polls we featured relating to the game.

Firstly, let`s have a look at how you thought the game would go.

52% of those that voted were of the opinion that Newcastle would win and would win inside the opening ninety minutes, negating the need for extra time or penalties - fools!

32% showed the kindred spirit needed to get our season kick-started by, as it turned out in the end, quite rightly suggesting Posh would take Newcastle to the cleaners inside ninety minutes.

Strangely enough, only a mere 10% could see the game going into extra time with the percentage evenly split between the two penalty shoot out options.

Nobody predicted the game would be won in extra time by either side - did they know something we didn`t?

But the result is now history, so who did you vote for as your man of the match?

Step forward George Boyd who polled 50% of the vote seeing of the joint challenge of Craig Mackail-Smith and Russell Martin.

Our latest poll takes a look at the outcome of our trip to Blackpool, will it be kiss me quick hats or a few pints to drown your sorrows in some back street bar?

The choice is yours!
