Posh - Ferguson Chases that First Win!

A while ago I posted a poll that asked you to predict how many points we`d get from what looked like two very difficult away games on the trot in the trips to Queens Park Rangers and Leicester City.

The results, and I`ll do an article relating to it later, didn`t give us cause for optimism. Therefore, I`m pleasantly surprised to reflect on the two score draws we`ve achieved, two points out of six doesn`t always look the best return but considering the opposition, it`d have been something I`d have settled for earlier last week.

Nevertheless we`re still hovering just above the relegation zone and we`ve yet to taste the sweet scent of victory in the Championship, a point that obviously galls our manager, Darren Ferguson, who in his post match interview was quick to point out,

"That`s seven games into the season now and we`ve not won. It`s not good at all - it`s embarrassing."

"It`s vital that we win soon."

Indeed it most certainly is and with Reading our opposition at the weekend I`m quietly optimistic that we will get a win. But, I can`t help thinking Darren`s word may effect a catch twenty-two situation in that the longer we harp on about not having won the more those pulling on the Posh shirt will be aware of it!
