'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Day Still in the Picture!

You`ve got to feel sorry for Jamie Day, our young full back.

After being laid up for almost a season with a worrying back injury, the youngster has been out of contention in recent weeks with an ankle injury.

However, despite his absence, he is still in the plans of Darren Ferguson who has commented,

'Jamie is very much part of our plans. I have always liked him as a player and I certainly think he will cope in the Championship."

'It is not unusual to pick up a little injury and being out for so long but Jamie is ready for games in the reserves and he will be back in the squad in a couple of weeks' time.'

Let`s hope Jamie can then get through the rest of the campaign without any further injuries, we think the lad deserves a break don`t you!
