Posh - Fergie Looking for Decent Cup Run!
It may only be the lowest ranked of the two major domestic cups but there is still honour at stake.
A decent run in the Carling Cup can generate income whilst also providing valuable publicity for a club like ours.
Therefore it`s pleasing to read, in the local media, that Darren Ferguson is going to treat the competition with respect and will be fielding a strong side and that he also wants to go a long way in the competition.
Here`s what he had to say,
'We will be going with our strongest possible team with the intention of winning the game. We had a good training session yesterday, did plenty of work on Wycombe and we are going there to do the job."
'I certainly want to have a good run in this competition and what those teams achieved last season suggests it is possible."
