Posh - Boyd Optimistic!

Posh - Boyd Optimistic!

Amidst the heartache of defeat to Derby County, a defeat that ruined our hopes of at least taking a share of the spoils; there were plenty of positive points.

For a start, in periods of the game we didn`t look second best to a Derby side that have been residing in the Championship for a few years, although to be fair we looked a bit suspect in the first half.

However, after getting his Championship scoring record underway, George Boyd talking to the local media emphasised that Posh supporters have a lot to look forward to commenting,

'Anyone watching that game will realise that we are going to be fine in this division. We played some great stuff, created some good chances and had them hanging on at the end.

'We're devastated to have lost, but we should take heart from the display, particularly in the second half."

Let`s hope we can start, on Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday, where we left off in that second half at Pride Park!
