Posh - A Day Nearer Derby!

We`re another day nearer our fixture against Derby County.

Another day nearer the start of a Championship season some of us could only dream about two years ago.

As you`d expect, the excitement levels are growing by the day and it looks like there`ll be a good contingent up from London Road to cheer on the lads.

But what should we expect from Saturday?

A win, a draw?

Charlie Lee, who played a monumental part in us gaining back-to-back promotions, has no doubts that we can get three points in this first game of the season, remarking to the local media,

'I can't wait for the first game at Derby. We couldn't have been handed many better matches to start out in the Championship and I'm dying to be involved.".

'It is going to be a massive game in front of a big crowd and a great place to go and get three points."

'We have come a hell of a long way in a short space of time and we are under no illusions about how tough it will be this season, but we go into it with confidence."

'We know we are capable of getting results anywhere and against any team if we play like we can. We have all worked really hard to get to the Championship. Now it is about proving we are good enough to stay there and kicking on again.'

Anyone care to forecast the score?
