Posh - Mackail-Smith to miss big Kick-Off?

It`s becoming likelier by the minute that our leading scorer, from last season, Craig Mackail-Smith, will miss our big kick-off in the Championship.

Mackail-Smith, who returned from Marbella ahead of the rest of the squad with a niggling injury, was expected to play at least some part in the friendly fixture this afternoon in order to prove his fitness ahead of the trip to Pride Park next Saturday.

However, reports coming in that Mackail-Smith didn`t train with the squad on Friday but instead was put through a routine with Keith Oakes, on his own.

With only the Sunderland fixture coming up in midweek before we begin our campaign, time is fast running out for Craig!
