'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Luton Town 3 Posh XI 0

As well as entertaining Fulham at London Road this afternoon, Posh also sent an eleven to Kenilworth Road to play Luton Town.

With the match receipts going someway to pay for the costs of the transfer of former Posh favourite Shane Blackett to Kenilworth Road, we hope there was a decent attendance there although we suspect Posh fans were very thin on the ground due to the Fulham match.

In the event, Luton won 3-0 with the goals coming from Talbot, Hall and Watkins.

Hopefully we`ll be able to report on how the Posh eleven performed later this weekend although we understand recent signing Danny Mills was given a run out.
