Posh - Early Spurs News!

Posh - Early Spurs News!

It`s back to London Road this Tuesday evening for another prestige friendly against Premier League opposition.

This time we entertain, Tottenham and the lads will be hoping to do better than on Saturday when they succumbed to Aston Villa.

However, in all fairness our strength on Saturday wasn`t up to what it should with a flu bug ravaging our squad.

Thankfully, matters are improving and there`s a chance that we may even witness a return to first team action of Zakuani, Mclean and Batt. Three players that will, no doubt, bolster our team as we seek to get a result against our North London opponents.

Another bonus is that Dean Keates could return after missing the Villa game due to injury.

The Posh support seems to have taken the Tottenham game to heart far more than the Villa game, already 5000+ tickets have been sold and the official site is urging Posh supporters without tickets to buy from the ticket office or online.

See you there folks!
