Posh - Ferguson Laments Flu Bug!

Posh - Ferguson Laments Flu Bug!

After going down 3-0 to Premier League Aston Villa, Darren Ferguson has spoken out about the performance and blamed the flu bug that has ravaged the club.

Talking to the media after the game, Ferguson remarked,

"The flu has affected us very badly. Six or seven have had it and there were four missing today. The saving grace is that it`s happened now rather than in three weeks time."

"We played very well until Villa scored, but they stepped it up after that."

Let`s hope this` stepping it up` syndrome doesn`t become a familiar catchphrase as we look to embark on a season in the Championship.
