Posh - Early Villa News!

Posh - Early Villa News!

After relatively easy fixtures against Rochdale (in Marbella), St Albans and St Neots, Peterborough take on a Premier League high-flyer in the shape of Aston Villa at London Road this Saturday.

Unfortunately, a degree of apathy amongst the supporters, regarding the high ticket prices, means that the attendance expected is unlikely to exceed much above 4000 which is a shame considering that Martin O`Neill has promised to bring an experienced squad to Cambridgeshire.

Sadly, it looks as if Posh will be without one or two of their own big guns as a flu-bug (not swine-flu) continues to sweep around the club. Several players missed the trip to St Albans and we understand several more have been feeling the effects of the bug.

Also, if you`re thinking of making the journey to London Road please be aware that we`ve been informed that the car park behind the Main Stand will be shut from 12:00 hours, a magnificent piece of planning might we add.

Hopefully, there`ll be a match report posted sometime Saturday evening!

You could have at least pulled up a pic with our current badge ;-) I'll be there, never been to Peterborough before so it's all very exciting!
