'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - It`s Adams Park for Westwood!

So it`s finally goodbye to Chris Westwood.

Our defender, one of the twelve players released by the club, has found a new home at Adams Park, playing for Wycombe Wanderers.

Westwood had spoken to several clubs but it appears newly promoted Wycombe turned his head the most and their manager, Peter Taylor, is attributed on their official web site as remarking,

'I'm delighted to have signed Chris. He's got good experience and is a good talker both on and off the field.'

'He's exactly what we needed after losing a couple of experienced players over the summer.'

Whereas Westwood himself has remarked,

'I had a meeting with Peter Taylor, he explained his vision for the club and I think it's an exciting place to come. Hopefully I can lend my experience to the squad while I'm here.'

Here at Vital Posh we`d like to wish Chris all the best for the future.
