Posh - Howe`s a Wanted Man!

Posh - Howe`s a Wanted Man!

One of those listed and labeled as the 'dozen' could well be on the way to pastures anew.

Rene Howe, who made only three starts for Posh before being loaned out to Morecambe, is interesting both Yeovil Town and Lincoln City.

Obviously, scoring 12 goals in 41 appearances whilst on loan has attracted some interest in the twenty-two year old forward.

The two managers vying for his signature are Terry Skiverton (Yeovil) and Peter Jackson (Lincoln) and both have issued comments, to regional BBC stations, relating to the striker.

Skiverton is quoted as remarking,

'He's come up the right way, the no-league way.'

Whilst Jackson has commented,

'I've spoken with him and we've made contact with his agent and the club.'

'We're still waiting for a final decision on it. If the decision's no, we're still looking about for strikers who will lead the line.'

From a Posh perspective, having two clubs interested can only be off benefit to the club. Hopefully, a little bit of a transfer battle might break out pushing the price up!
