Posh - Bennett Will Not Be Coming!

It doesn`t look as if the exciting Grimsby teenager, Ryan Bennett, is to become a Posh player.

After Posh went back to Grimsby with a second substantial offer, they`ve had to admit defeat as Grimsby refuse to let their man go obviously believing he`s either worth more or can help propel them to better things.

The enforced situation has had Barry Fry remarking,

"That`s the end of it as far as we are concerned."

"Bennett is a great prospect, but we will now look elsewhere."

I guess it was a case of not being prepared to gamble a significant amount of money on an untried, at this level, youngster.

Only time will tell if we were right!
