Posh Await Carling Cup Opponents!

With the fixtures out Wednesday our early season commitments look to be taking shape with the release of our Carling Cup opponents on Tuesday.

Posh are a seeded team and are, if we`ve read the rules right, likely to be paired with an un-seeded team in a tie that will take place in the week commencing August 10th.

Therefore, it looks, to us, as if Posh will be drawn, either home or away against one of the following in the Southern half of the draw.

AFC Bournemouth, Aldershot Town, Barnet, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Burton Albion, Cheltenham Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Exeter City, Gillingham, Hereford United, Leyton Orient, Northampton Town, Shrewsbury Town, Swindon Town, Torquay United, Wycombe Wanderers, Yeovil Town.
