Posh To Sign French Youngster!

Posh look to have continued their attempts at picking up youthful talent after having had a bid accepted for the Hereford lad, Toumani Diagouraga.

The exact fee offered isn`t known but Posh have confirmed that the fee is less than the monstrous £400,000 indicated in a tabloid this morning.

Diagouraga is twenty-two and has previously played for Watford where, as a youngster, he only made a handful of appearances.

With a fee agreed, the player and his agent are expected to wrap up a deal with Barry Fry, at London road, this afternoon.

Talking about the transfer, Fry has remarked to the local media,

'Toumani is a holding midfielder who breaks up play, but he is also a good passer of the ball. We tried to sign him last summer but as Hereford were promoted with us he stayed with them."

'Darren Ferguson fancied having another go at him after Hereford's relegation last season and we have now had a bid accepted."

'I'm speaking to the player today and hopefully we will reach an agreement. It's another young, hungry player who will fit in superbly with the rest of the squad."

Let`s hope negotiations go as smoothly as Barry hopes.
