Posh - One in the Eye for Newell!

Posh - One in the Eye for Newell!

With Posh tracking the 19 year old Grimsby defender, Ryan Bennett, but being given a 'hands-off` warning, many thought that would be thee end of that.

Especially with Grimsby wanting a cool £1 million for the youngster!

However, there still remains a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel with the lad himself keen on moving from the bottom of League Two to a Championship side.

His agent, Darren Bossons, has remarked to Sky Sports,

'Ryan would welcome the opportunity to talk to Peterborough in the event that the two clubs are able to agree something.'

"This position has been expressed to Grimsby.'

So has this rumour still some mileage in it?

We certainly think so!

hope you get him, despise Newell for what he's done to my home town club!
