Posh - Second Bennett Bid Hits Rocks!

It looks like we`re being a little persistent when it comes to that lad, Ryan Bennett, from Grimsby!

After Mike Newell told us to sling our hooks a while back after we first showed our interest it appears we went back and tried again last Thursday but with much the same response and the buzz on the street from Barry Fry is,

'When we initially asked about Ryan the Grimsby chairman said they wouldn't even sell him for a million, but certain things have changed as they always do in football.'

'We put in another bid for him yesterday (Thursday) and are awaiting a response.'

With the received response being,

"It's a derisory bid and the club will not be accepting it at all.'

Go on, add a few more grand then and see if they change their minds!
