Posh - Favours From Dad Please!

After having taken James Chester on loan, from Manchester United I sort of half hoped that Sir Alex would do his son a few favours this season.

There`s no doubting that life in he Championship will be challenging.

We`d be foolish to think that we can simply turn up in August and carry on with the same success we`ve experienced in the last two seasons.

The Championship is full of sides that desperate to climb aboard the Premier League bandwagon, some for the first time and some that are hoping to restore previous glories.

Sir Alex has a host of talented youngsters, a rich pool he invariably dips into for Carling Cup matches.

I`d hoped that Darren might be able to tap up his dad and get him to provide some of those talented youngsters with the chance to further their careers in the Championship, indeed last season James Chester showed us enough to suggest he`d not be out of his depth in second tier football.

Therefore, it`s a touch disappointing to read that Sir Alex has released three of his youngsters (Frazier Campbell, Danny Simpson, Darron Gibson) for sale rather than push them towards the Posh cause, unfortunately, the sale prices are out of our range, have a word with the old boy Darren!
